Bengaluru: Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL), the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) arm of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), has entered India’s ice cream market with the launch of Bombay Creamery.
The company said the new brand is built around authentic dairy ingredients and real dairy cream, with a focus on offering a quality ice cream experience at affordable prices.
Bombay Creamery will offer real ice creams across formats including cones, cups, tubs, bars and sticks. Prices will start at Rs 10, making the range accessible to a wide consumer base.
The products are initially available in Western India, with RCPL planning a pan-India rollout in the coming period.
The launch marks RCPL’s dedicated entry into the ice cream category. The company said Bombay Creamery will be supported by its national distribution network, retail presence and consumer insights.
T Krishnakumar, Director, Reliance Consumer Products Limited, said the brand was built around the idea that dairy products should not require shortcuts. He said the company is making a long-term commitment to the ice cream category while focusing on genuine dairy taste at an affordable price.
With the launch, RCPL is positioning Bombay Creamery around its broader “Global Quality at Affordable Price" promise.
